Chartlex Plus Terms

The rules for Chartlex Plus, in plain words. Please read them before you buy.
Who we are
Chartlex runs Chartlex Plus. When we say we, us or our, we mean Chartlex. When we say you, we mean the person who buys a plan.
These terms apply when you buy or use Chartlex Plus at app.chartlex.com. If they differ from Chartlex's general terms, these terms come first for Chartlex Plus.

What Chartlex Plus is
Chartlex Plus is a monthly plan for independent artists. Each month, your promo runs on Spotify for the songs on your plan. We spread it across the whole month.
You also get a dashboard at app.chartlex.com/dash. We email you every Monday with last week's numbers, and we send you a report on day 20.
Each month we make a Spotify Canvas (a short looping video) from your cover art. We check it before it shows in your dashboard.
You check your results in your own Spotify for Artists.
Plans and prices
A plan covers 1, 2 or 3 songs. Plans for 4 and 5 songs are offered only in checkout. The price of your plan is the price shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars.
Bundle prices are only for songs you start together, like an EP or an album. A song you add later is its own $59 a month plan, billed from the day you add it.
You can go down to fewer songs. The change starts from your next charge.
Some visitors get an intro offer, for example $20 off the first month of the 1-song plan. An intro offer applies to your first payment only. After that, the normal price applies.
Billing and renewal
You pay upfront at checkout. Shopify handles the payment for us.
Each plan renews automatically every month, on the same date and at your plan's monthly price, until you cancel. At checkout you tick a box that says: "I understand my plan renews every month at the price above, until I cancel." By ticking it, you agree to this.
Your card statement shows CHARTLEX. We email you a receipt.
If something looks wrong on your card, email us first at info@chartlex.com. We will look into it and sort it out quickly.
Starting your plan
Your month starts the day you pay. Your promo starts once your song is added. Spotify for Artists usually shows it after 2 to 3 days.
Your songs
To choose a song, paste a public Spotify link to it. You can do this at checkout, or later from your dashboard. We never ask for your Spotify password.
You can switch to a different song every two weeks from your dashboard.
Pausing
You can pause your plan for 1 or 2 months from your dashboard.
Your promo runs to the end of the month you paid for. You are not charged while your plan is paused. After the pause, your plan starts again on your usual billing date, and a new paid month begins.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time from your dashboard. There is no notice period.
Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. We will not charge you again.
The older "30 days notice" rule in Chartlex's general terms does not apply to Chartlex Plus.
First month refund
If your promo does not run as described in your first month, we refund your first payment. This applies to your first payment only. Later payments are not covered.
Runs as described means your promo runs on your song across the month, from the day your song is added. The Monday emails and the day 20 report are part of your plan, but they are not part of this refund.
To claim, reply to any Chartlex Plus email or write to info@chartlex.com within 30 days of your first payment. Tell us what did not happen. We answer within one business day.
We refund the plan part of your first payment, for example $39 if you used the first month offer. We pay it back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank decides how long it takes to show. One-time extras are covered by the Extras section. When we refund, we also cancel your plan so you are not charged again, unless you ask us to keep it.
This is about how we run your plan. It is not about Spotify. We do not refund for Spotify results, such as streams, listeners, followers or playlist adds. We never promise those. We also cannot refund if your promo could not run because no song link was added, or the link was not a public Spotify song link.
This refund is on top of your legal rights. It does not replace them.
Refunds
Each month is paid upfront and starts the day you pay. We do not refund a month that has started, except under the first month refund above, where the law says we must, or where we made a mistake. If we made a mistake, email us and we will make it right.
If we cannot run your promo for a song, for example because of a rights problem, we tell you. You can pick another song, or we refund the unused part of that month. In your first month, the first month refund above applies instead.
Extras
At checkout you can add one-time extras. We make them by hand from your song and cover art, and we deliver them in your dashboard.
The extras are the Reels and TikTok clip pack (2 short vertical videos), the Release kit, and the Social post pack (5 graphics: story, square and banner). The price of each is shown at checkout.
Extras do not renew. Once we have made an extra, we do not refund it. Your legal rights stay the same.
Your content and rights
You must own your songs and cover art, or have the right to promote them.
You let us use your song link, title, artist name and cover art to run your promo and to make your Canvas and extras. You keep all your rights.
We may refuse or stop a song we cannot promote. We tell you if we do.
Spotify and results
Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB. Chartlex Plus is an independent service. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify.
Spotify runs its own systems. It decides how it counts and shows streams. We do not control Spotify.
We do not guarantee any number of streams, playlists, followers or listeners. Results differ from song to song.
Price changes
If the price of your plan is going to change, we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then.
Our responsibility
Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last month.
We are not responsible for what Spotify or other platforms do.
Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you.
Changes, law and contact
We email members before important changes to these terms. These terms were last updated on October 7, 2026.
The laws of Latvia apply to these terms. You keep the consumer rights of the country you live in. Our privacy policy is at www.chartlex.com/privacy.
